What CalcHub Is

CalcHub is a free collection of online calculators covering finance, health, everyday math, and more. Every calculator on this site is designed to do two things: give you an accurate answer instantly, and show you exactly how that answer was reached — the formula used, each step of the calculation, and a plain-English explanation of what the result means.

Most calculator sites show you a number. CalcHub shows you the math behind it. That distinction matters whether you are checking a loan payment before signing a contract, verifying a BMI result, or confirming a tip split at a restaurant.

What We Cover

CalcHub currently offers 13 calculators across four categories:

Accuracy and Limitations

All calculators on CalcHub use standard, publicly documented formulas. The loan and mortgage calculators use the standard amortization formula. The BMI calculator uses the formula published by the World Health Organization. The calorie calculator uses the Mifflin-St Jeor equation, which is the formula most commonly used by registered dietitians and cited in peer-reviewed research.

Results are provided for informational and educational purposes only. Financial calculations do not account for taxes, insurance, fees, or individual lender terms. Health calculations are not a substitute for advice from a licensed medical professional. Always verify important figures with a qualified professional before making financial or medical decisions.

How the Site Is Funded

CalcHub is free to use and does not require an account or registration. The site is supported by display advertising. Ads are served by third-party ad networks and are clearly labeled. CalcHub does not sell user data and does not require any personal information to use the calculators.
